St. Michael Parish

• Are you a baptized Catholic who has already received Eucharist but are not confirmed?
• Are you actively attending Mass?
• Do you desire to complete the Sacraments of Initiation through the celebration of Confirmation?

If you said yes to the above questions, then we have the program for you! God is always calling us to be in relationship with Him. One way we celebrate this relationship is through the sacraments of the Church. As a response to this call, St. Michael the Archangel Parish will be sponsoring an adult confirmation program. This four-session program is intended for those who have been catechized in their faith and have already celebrated Baptism and Eucharist.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states, “Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it is the sacrament which gives the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in the divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly into Christ, strengthen our bond with the Church, associate us more closely with her mission, and help us bear witness to the Christian faith in words accompanied by deeds.” (CCC 1316) “The reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace.” (CCC 1285)

Our sessions for this fall will be held on Sunday, October 5, 12, 19 and 26, from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. in the Marian Room (Parish Office, located on Bright Rd.) If you are interested in participating in this program or would like more information, please fill out the bottom portion of the flyer and return to the Parish Office by September 22th.
