Theology on Tap

Theology on Tap is a speaker series for those in their 20’s and 30’s, married or single, to meet together in the relaxed setting of a local pub. Through lively conversations and interesting speakers, young adults have an opportunity to reflect on their faith and connect with other young adults. Topics focus on faith and contemporary issues that directly affect the lives of today’s young adults. Theology on Tap meets on the Second Thursday of every month from 6-8 p.m. at the Red Pig Inn in Ottawa, Ohio.

We travel as a group, carpooling over to Ottawa for Theology on Tap. We meet in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart on West 224 by the highway at 5:30p.m. and depart from there at 5:45p.m.

Next Session
Date: May 8, 2008
When: 6 p.m., Speaker at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Red Pig Inn, Ottawa, Ohio
Speaker: Fr. Tim Knepper

Get Involved!

Want to become more involved in the Parish? There are plenty of volunteer opportunities in all aspects of parish life! Here are just some of the options:

  • Youth Ministry: Become an Adult Leader and help plan and put on amazing programs for the high school and/or junior high school youth of the Parish! To Get Involved contact Donna Brown @ 419-422-2646.
  • CCD: Continuing Christian Development is Religious Education for children who attend public school. It is also a BIG program that needs a lot of volunteers to run. To learn more on how to Get Involved just Click Here!
  • ECRE: Early Childhood Religious Education serves as Sunday School for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old children during the 10 a.m. Mass. This program also takes a lot of volunteers to run. To learn more on how to Get Involved just Click Here!
  • VBS: Vacation Bible School is a week long summer program for children 4-years-old to 5th grade. Group leaders and helpers are needed to supervise the children and help with activities. To Get Involved contact Geri Leibfarth @ 419-422-2646.
  • Parish Festival: Every summer St. Michael's puts on a festival for the Parishioners and the community. This large weekend endeavor takes the effort of a large number of volunteers to run all of the activities. To Get Involved just listen to the announcements at the end of Mass as festival time approaches, they'll tell you all about how to do it!

And there are more ways to help out than just these! To find more opportunities to help out in the Parish and Get Involved contact the Parish Office @ 419-422-2646!
