Our weekend Masses during the summer and into the fall of the year are titled Sundays after Pentecost.  These Sundays begin after June 1/2, the feast of The Body and Blood of Jesus Christ and continue through the feast of Christ the King, November 23/24.  During this time we will wear green vestments.

 

The gospel readings during this time will speak to us about the kingdom of God and describe the miracles and teachings of Jesus.  In Jesus’ own time this was given to his apostles and disciples but it is also true for us today, his modern apostles and disciples.
