Fr. Mike's Message

Fr Mike

The Sundays between the Baptism of the Lord and Ash Wednesday (Lent) begin the public ministry of Jesus and what we call the beginning of ordinary time in the liturgical year. The Gospel of these Sundays often describe Jesus’ calling of the apostles, introducing himself to his disciples and beginning to set a formation pattern with his people.

This year we will hear these details from the beginning chapters of the Gospel of Luke.

The staff of St. Michael the Archangel Parish would like to welcome you to join us at our parish weekend Masses. We gather to give praise to our Lord and to say thank you for our many blessings. Through the Eucharist we receive the living presence of Jesus Christ into our lives.

May the Lord be with you in a special way as we begin a new decade --- 2010.

                                    God Bless,
                                    Father Mike
