High School Ministry exists to empower teens to live as disciples of Jesus Christ, to participate in the life and mission of the Church, and to Foster the spiritual and personal development of each individual. At St. Michael the Archangel, we accomplish this through a variety of opportunities: 

Throughout the School Year 

Event Night - Once a Month on Sunday | 7:00 - 9:00 PM

Each month we host a large event open to all high school students. We have food, games, and themes geared at meeting teens where they're at as they grow in their faith. No registration required, but fill out a release form at the beginning of each school year. 

Squad Groups - Date and Location Varies | 7:00 - 8:30 PM on Sundays

Your teen and a small group of friends gathering regularly to hang out and discuss important (or random) topics. This isn't a class, but guided by adults who will help teens engage their faith and dig into the questions they may have. Teens can join a group at Event Night or email Rachel for more info. 

Night of Worship - 3rd Sundays of the Month | 7:00 - 8:15 PM

While this isn't a youth specific event, we encourage teens to attend with their friends or family. Night of Worship is an hour of Adoration with praise and worship. Encounter God through music, reflection, and the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist. 

Retreats & Other Opportunities 

Steubenville Conference | July 7-9, 2023

A Catholic Conference to bring high schoolers into a life changing encounter with Jesus Christ. Open to current 8th - 12th grade students. Register at the link here. 

Kentucky Mission Trip | July 31 - August 5, 2023

An opportunity to put your faith into action in a very hands-on way. SMP will be serving the people of Southern Kentucky. See the registration page for more details.
